The first of the "Leipziger Buchmesse" is over now, I met interesting people had some greatsinterviews and made even better pictures.
It all started with a meet and greet with Michael Peinkofer, the author of books like "Die Bruderschaft der Runen", "Das Buch von Ascalon" and others, who presented his new work "Das Vermächtnis der Runen" - (http://www.luebbe.de/Buecher/Historisches/Details/Id/978-3-7857-2494-1)
It was very interesting, when he was talking about the steps of producing a book, doing the research, the writing itself, which music he's listening (especially film music or classic stuff, depending on the mood, which is needed in the current chapter - no vocals), while writing, the way, he's getting inspirations and also about some general experiences he made over the years.
He also explained the teamwork of the different parts of producing a book, not just the author, who's relevant, but also the lectors, the publisher and their cooperation all together.
For his actual masterpiece he was working for a half year.
It was an interesting interview and the minutes went by so quickly, the time was really flying and ended with a personally signed book for everyone of us and a picture .
After that I visited every hall and met very many cosplayers in the Anime/Manga/Comic section in hall 1, the Manga-Comic-Convention area of the fair. Some of them I allready met last and sadly couldn't remember, shame on me...
We shared our experiences about Anime, Manga and Games, e.g. the upcomming Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD-Remastered for PS3 and PS Vita. I also talked about some Japan-Stuff, someone recommended me Kyoto and Osaka, we were also talking about some kinda secret sights in Tokyo.

Today the Bookfair Leipzig ("Leipziger
Buchmesse") starts. It's the first year with a second event in the
halls, the MCC - Manga-Comic-Convention. I'm looking forward to all the
cosplayers and booths.
As I gave you a riddle about the Size of the Godzilla statue, it's time to reveal the solution.
But before I can, I have to tell, what happened, when I got to the Hibiya Chanter:

Godzilla was "honored" with this statue in Hibiya, because Hibiya and Ginza were the first parts of Tokyo detroyed by it/him/her, there's another one in front of the Toho Studios, maybe I'll make an interview with this one this year.... - check
Normally Size matters as always, but as this small statue is a symbol for the monster itself, the Meaning of it and for sure Godzilla are even bigger, than you can imagine. - check

Let's talk about food and the combination of food and Anime... and some food stuff in general.
Many people like Dragon Ball, many people like fried chicken, and which are better than KFC's fried chicken...

Meeting the Colonel himself is an honor, even if he's hard (-plastic), but he got HEART and something to find Dragon BAlls, maybe hidden in one of the fried chicken.
What else do we know about Japan - Fruits are expensive..., NO, that's a myth, I will show you.
You can get a special price for 5.150 Yen per water melon, what an awesome price, they are almost throwing them away.
And Grapes for ONLY 3.150 YEN, what a great DEAL.
SO YOU SEE, IT'S A MYTH, THAT FRUITS ARE EXPENSIVE IN JAPAN,.... THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE THERE.. Because sometimes they are used as gifts for Birthdays or marriages.
The only thing, that confuses me is the fact, that you can have ONE liter of pure apple juice with 100% of pure apple, orange or others for 105 Yen, e.g. at LAWSON or Seven Eleven - can You explain that, maybe there need for an explaination, just drink the cheap juice and enjoy the beauty of these high priced fruits.
this year I will go to Tokyo again, this year with a huge group, I spent my half vacation visit of 2012 with two of them.
I found a video on my harddrive, where we went to CLUB SEGA, where one can play arcades or other fun games. We played AirHockey "Extreme", you will see, why I call it EXTREME.
Too Bad, I lost, but maybe I will take revenge this year..., else I will beat him in another game.
This entry is about Hachiko, a well known Akita-dog.
This statue is placed in Shibuya, next to the JR-Exit, which is also named after this dog. Why is Hachiko (born 1923) honored with this statue? - He was faithful. Every day he was waiting for his owner Hidesaburō Ueno at the Shibuya station, when he finished work.
After the death of his owner (1925) Hachiko still came to Shibuya station every day. This statue was placed there in 1934 while Hachiko himself was around.
In 1935 he was found dead, as he was known all over the country, his death was announced nationwide. The original statue was made of iron and was mold within the 2nd WW because of the lack of iron.
A bronce version was placed there in 1948.
It's said, that it will bring furtune, if you touch or rub Hachiko.
Doing this video, I was surrounded by many people, because Hachiko is a well known object of interest in Japan, especially Tokyo, so I was kinda disturbing everyone, who wanted to take a picture him. The crowd had some curious sights, but that didn't bother me at all ;P.
It's also a place where many people meet.
You wanna go shopping in Shibuya? - Oh yeah, let's meet at Hachiko tomorrow at 4PM...
And one more thing, it's next the biggest crossing, the Shibuya Crossing where up to 12.000+ cross the street per period.

A statue, a sculpture, a sign for the thing, that many Japanese want the most, but don't or don't want to show their need for it.
Even Those who have "gathered" IT won't or can't show / express their feelings, especially not in public.
The absence of this "THING", causes people, who feel loneliness, to go to cat cafés, kuddle cafés, maid cafés, host/ess clubs or any other amusements.
This sign is placed in the skyscraper district of Shinjuku (another one is in NYC-Rockefeller Plaza, but that doesn't matter), Tokyo. Shinjuku is devided into 2 parts, the skyscraper district and the amusement district.
I think I know, why it's placed in front of the Hilton Hotel in the part of Shinjuku with the high towers.
Because of the absence of this sign, the thing itself is also absent in the amusement district, but I don't think, that it's found next to skyscrapers, so it needs to be replaced, the gap must be filled.
I'm talking about the LOVE sign. In my opinion, Japanese people don't express their feelings in public, I also think many people miss these feelings, emotions and so on.
If the gap can't be filled with real love, they replace it with other things like hobbies or services of fake love.

I don't know, why it's hard for japanese people to meet someone new, if their jobs are the main reason or which there are.
