Today on Mega-Monday we'll go on a hunt for Sting Chameleon.
His stage
is a forest. You can get a new armor part there - the body armor part.
Sting Chameleon is quite annoying, when he's invincable and you only have a few frames to hit him, but you still can make it!
Today I played the first stage - Chill Penguin's snow level.
I chose it as my first stage, because this Maverick can be defeated easily without any need of a sub weapon and also because you cannot miss the leg upgrade.
~Mega Man, super fighting Robot, super fighting robot...~
I have a buzzing in my ear, it's the German Mega Man Anime intro, compare them both yourself ;)
As you can guess, it's time for Mega Man - time for a Mega Man X [RePlay]
Mega Man X was created by CAPCOM and released in 1993 in Japan and 1994 in NA/EU for SNES and later rereleased for PSP as Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, it's also available via the Nintendo e-Shop. In Japan the series is called Rockman.
The Mega Man series, especially the older ones are known for their difficulty.
I won't spoil about the plot, because most of it is explained in the story, especially in the intro.
Only 1 thing, Mavericks are robots that once were good but turned evil.
The game is a jump and shoot, typical for the Mega Man series you enter several stages with a certain theme, this normally represents the boss of that area - e.g. there's a penguin in a winter stage...
When you defeat the boss you get access to its "elemental" power and this so called sub-weapon is effective vs. another boss.
Through the whole game you "collect" these sub-weapons and also other goodies like health tanks, which can be used to restore your health, hearts that increase your maximum health and armor upgrades (e.g. enables a dash or decreased the damage you take)
That's all for the explaination now, enjoy the pictures and the first episode of [RePlay] Mega Man X on Mega-Monday.
